Sin & Repentance

Do not ask merely whether Christ is your Savior, but whether Christ is truly your Lord. If self still sits on the throne—if you still “turn to your own way” and live to please yourself—then your hope is built on sand. When the Spirit begins a work of grace, sin is unveiled as rebellion against God’s authority, and true conversion becomes a real turning: laying down the weapons of self-will, forsaking idols, and yielding without reserve to the King. God will not save you on your terms. Come into the light, confess your self-rule, and seek the Lord while he may be found.
