Divine Revelation in the Sky and Outer Space

The starry heavens and the moral law within testify that God has not left the world without a voice: creation manifests His eternal power and Godhead, leaving atheism impossible and every sinner without excuse, bound to glorify Him and give thanks.

One thing has been constant day and night for thousands of years. Mortal men look up and behold the Heavens with wonder and awe. The feeling is indescribable. Famous philosophers strike a chord when they put into words what everyone else is thinking.
"Two things fill the mind with ever new and increasing admiration and awe, the more often and steadily we reflect upon them: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me." — Immanuel Kant
Now, more than ever, people are looking to the stars. Something natural, something within, is making us look up! The upward gaze is universal. Every nation, tribe, and tongue is starstruck under the influence Every day, sunrise and sunset, the sky turns into a divine canvas of artistic beauty We gaze upon it until we are forced to shield our eyes in awe of its power. And the pleasantries of morning time are sweet, colorful, melodious, and encouraging Every night, the sky turns into a divine canvas of darkness that is star-studded with innumerable diamonds We wish to see the diamonds closer, or somehow look farther, that the eyes of mortal men could penetrate into the deep unknown of the galaxy.
Day and night, we are humbled at the height of the clouds in the foreground and the height of the sun, moon, and stars in the background We feel small, insignificant, and base in the universe Sometimes our days turn into darkness under the black canopy of terrifying thunderstorms. Then we feel weak and vulnerable. Blinding flashes of lightning and thunderous sounds of power make the earth shake underneath our feet, and we tremble in amazement

Atheism is Impossible and Inexcusable

Divine revelation is inherently connected to these common and universal experiences in our world insomuch that atheism is impossible. Something divine is making us look up! Therefore, atheism is inexcusable. We are not experiencing the miracles of evolution or the wonders of mother nature. Our Creator is intentionally and purposefully revealing Himself to us through creation. We are being forced to recognize the power and authority of our Creator. Hence, as created beings, we should glorify God and be thankful for this lovely nursery of creation.
“Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” — Rom. 1:17-21
Divine truth is powerfully communicated to the soul through “creation”. It is divinely shown to all men, and therefore it is universally known by all men without exception. This is a supernatural experience that is accomplished through natural things. The evidence for God in nature speaks for itself! Reflecting on this, a psalmist poetically declared, “There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.” The message being communicated causes sinners to behold two things about God: “His eternal power and Godhead”.

Atheists like to present themselves to the public as lovers of science who will follow the facts wherever they may lead. However, these people are not innocent victims of ignorance who would be persuaded by sufficient evidence.

The existence of God is one of the moral absolutes that is universally present in all mankind. Something natural, something divine, is making us look up! Divine revelation is in the Heavens. Every day, sunset and sunrise, we are seeing what God is showing. “The Heavens declare the glory of God; and the Firmament sheweth His handywork.” As we shield our eyes in awe of its brightness, we are made to know “the Firmament of His power”
The pleasantries of morning time are sweet, colorful, melodious, and welcoming, and we are encouraged to know that the Lord’s mercy and compassion are “new every morning” Every night, as the sky is star-studded with diamonds, an innumerable host of lights moves like an army across the dome of our sky in a circuit - orderly, on course, and unwavering - even as the angelic hosts of Heaven circuit the Godhead in eternity Hereby, we are made to know the truth of what is written: “…and the host of Heaven worshippeth Thee” If only we could see it all up close, or somehow look farther, that the eyes of mortal men could penetrate into Heaven itself
“Lift up your eyes on High, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth.” — Isa. 40:26
As we look up and gaze upon these glories, we are getting a glimpse of Heaven itself. God, our Creator, uses physical creation to demonstrate and reveal divine things to mankind. The glory of the 3rd Heaven is put on display in the 1st and 2nd Heavens. The “eternal power” of God is demonstrated in the Heavens The “sun” and “moon” have endured “forever” from generation to generation The “days of Heaven” are eternal
“Forever, O LORD, Thy Word is settled in Heaven.” — Ps. 119:89
“He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.” — Ps. 148:6
The inextinguishable brightness of the stars is a living testimony of the eternal power of the Word of God. Credit is given to the “word” Credit is given to the “decree” Credit is given to the “ordinances” Credit is given to the “appointments” Credit is given to the “covenant” God made a “covenant” with the sun, moon, and stars, and that “covenant” has proven to be sure, steadfast, eternal, and unbreakable. Herein, the Word of God has proven to be the “truth” Therefore, sinners should learn to show the same respect and honor to the covenant that God has made with redeemed mankind of old and anew.
“Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break My covenant of the day, and My covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; Then may also My covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.” — Jer. 33:20-21
“Thus saith the LORD; If My covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.” — Jer. 33:25-26
Beholding the excellencies of immortal glory in heaven makes mortal men feel small and insignificant Such things make us marvel that God has chosen to visit sinners through Jesus Christ for the making of an everlasting covenant of salvation. This is called the New Covenant or the New Testament. It is the fruition of the Old Covenant. In this way Jesus Christ is the Word made flesh
“When I consider thy Heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?” — Ps. 8:3-4
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” — John 1:14
God will perform the words of all the covenants, even all the sworn oaths to David and Solomon And the day will finally come when heaven and earth will pass away. Time will cease! The sun, moon, and stars will finally be extinguished for the making of a new and glorious eternal day ( & ). And God will perfectly fulfill every single word of Holy Scripture.
“And it is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.” — Lk. 16:17
"For verily I say unto you, Till Heaven and Earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled." — Matt. 5:18
There is more power in one dot of an “i” in the Bible, than the seemingly inexhaustible power of all the stars in the galaxy. It would be easier for the earth, sky, space, and galaxy of our world to dissolve into nothing and suddenly disappear, than for one stroke of a “t” in the Bible to fail. Billionaires should stop looking to the stars for the vainglory of becoming a multiplanetary species. Instead, they should humble themselves before God and begin reading the Bible. Meanwhile, everyone else should stop believing in the filthy dreams of billionaires. Nobody’s rocket will usher in a new age for humanity. There is no hope for mankind on the hellish Red Planet called Mars. God has different plans. A much better vision for humanity has been bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. It was revealed to Abraham in the following encounter.
“And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.” — Gen. 15:5-6
Stargazers should be thinking about the “seed” of Abraham. Similarly, the “seed” of David will be as “the sun” before the LORD in the End of the World at the second coming of Jesus Christ Nothing is impossible with God.
“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” — Dan. 12:3
“Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” — Matt. 13:43
Redeemed men and women will be totally transformed by the immortal glory of Heaven They will be “changed” A great army of celestial glory will descend from Heaven in train behind Jesus Christ at the second coming The whole world will then see everything that Abraham saw and more when God made him look toward Heaven and gaze upon the stars We feel weak and vulnerable when our days turn to darkness under the black canopy of thunderstorms. Blinding flashes of lightning and thunderous sounds of power make the earth shake underneath our feet. Thus and thus shall we be made to feel, and much more, when the Son of God pierces the eastern sky and wages war to conquer the world
